Dear reader, the world as we know it is in the power of the evil one. Satan is doing his utmost best to overtake the church and to destroy the lives of Christians, their marriages and their faith. The reason why he is doing this is because Christianity (faith in Jesus Christ) provides mankind with the only way to victory and salvation.
The fact is: The church threatens Satan’s position and plans of destruction on earth!
As Christians, our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is our biggest weapon to overcome any form of attack in our lives.
Our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ helps us also to overcome the world and its sinful systems, its corrupt nature and its various pleasures. The Lord Jesus Christ defeated sin, Satan and death at the resurrection. Dear believer, are you living in the victory that Jesus Christ achieved for you? If not, evaluate yourself in the light of the reality of this message this morning. In Christ, your victory is assured! In Christ, your salvation is secure! In Christ, your pupose is found. In Christ, your life is abundant!
Living with a victim-mentality is not the way of life that Christ came to achieve for us. Jesus Christ came to give us a life of victory – mentally, emotionally and physically. Stop seeing yourself as the victim of your circumstances.
Stop wallowing in self-pity. Stop giving the devil credit over your life. You are already in Christ and your victory is already achieved in and through Him! Start declaring the Scripture on the picture inserted in today’s thought.
Say: “Lord, thank You! In Christ, I have already overcome! In Christ I already have the victory! I decide today to take up a victory-mentality in my life.”
Prayer:
“Heavenly Father, come and deliver us from a victim-mentality! Help us to realize who we are in You and what You did for us in and through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We have all we need in Him. We have salvation, victory, freedom, love, peace, security, protection! Help us to take up a victory-mentality and to start living by faith, declaring that we already have the victory. It is our faith that overcomes this world and its forces of evil! Thank You Jesus! Amen.”
