KZN FLOODING – INSURANCE CLAIMS

To ensure that your insurance company is able to assist you affected by the flooding I suggest you prepare the following:

1. Claim forms can be submitted online at most insurance companies or by emailing, calling, or whatsApping them and asking your insurance company or broker to send you a claim form to complete. and submit with supporting documents to register your claim.

2. Always include as many photos and videos of the damage as possible.

3. If possible obtain quotes to repair damage or replace items damaged or washed away during flooding.

4. The insurers will appoint a loss adjuster/assessor to assist you to complete the claim process. Trust you are taken care of and helped recover from this devastation as soon as possible.
