THEME: WITH ALL YOUR HEART
Deuteronomy 4: 29 “But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find Him if you look for Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Dear believer, God wants all of us; all of our hearts and all of our souls. A half-hearted attempt to seek God will not deliver the results that you and I are looking for. You see, when you seek God, God wants to know that He has all of you in that moment. A human being is not divided. God works with us as we surrender all of ourselves whole-heartedly to Him. God want us to seek Him with passion and in all earnesty. God rewards those who diligently seek Him! To seek God diligently means to seek Him intensely, intensively, purposefully, resolutely and actively.
‘Seeking God’ is a concept few Christians understand due to the influence of religion. A lot of focus is placed on practicing the right theology instead of walking in the Spirit of God. We need to spend time learning more about God and His ways by means of spending time in His Word. We need to allow God’s Spirit to move upon us as we pray. We need to completely humble ourselves before God and lay ourselves bare before Him. Seeking after God is an action that is required on our part if we wish to receive consistent revelations, healing, deliverance, abiding joy and peace and sound spiritual wisdom and direction.
The promise is there for you and me, dear believer. We will find God if we seek after Him with all our hearts and souls. We will have an encounter with Him. He will meet with us. He will touch us in a supernatural way, beyond human understanding! I want to encourage you: Seek Him with all of your heart today!
Prayer:
“Father God, it is our desire to spend time with You and to have intimacy with You. Only You can give us true peace and a touch from heaven. This morning we choose to make seeking You a priority in our lives. We surrender our hearts and our souls before You. We come as we are, humbly and in need of Your unfailing love to touch us and fill us today. Meet with us, Lord! We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
