Romans 8: 37 “…In all these things (trouble, hardships, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger or sword) we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us…”
Dear believer, it is time for us as Christians to take up our rightful positions of victory over sin, satan and evil in this world. It is time for us as Christians to appropriate the victory that Christ has already wrought on our behalf. So many “so-called” Christians are nothing but legalistic and religious church-goers. This is sad, because serving God goes so much deeper than that. God has so much to offer us, dear friend. Why are you settling for the crumbs if you can have the Bread of Life?
A lack of knowledge and faith in the Word of God as God’s ultimate truth and revelation also leads to a decrease in studying and meditating the Scriptures on the part of the Christian. Without the Word of God, dear believer, we will be powerless against the forces of evil at work in this world. There are many challenges, trials and tests set before us. Without a proper foundation of truth (Word of God) we will perish! Without being properly rooted and established in the Word of God we will give in to fear, doubt, unbelief and confusion! We will not overcome!
We are God’s children – The Most High God. He desires for us to take up who we are in His Son. The Word of God reveals this to us. It’s almost like taking off old clothes and putting on new clothes; given to us freely by the grace of our God. Believer, you are more than a conqueror. You might not feel like it, but it is the truth according to the Word of God. Declare this over your life. No matter what you are facing or what you will face in the future; if you are truly born-again and a believer in Jesus Christ, you are victorious!!!!!! You are more than a conqueror!
Prayer:
“Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for obtaining the victory on our behalf. Give us the full revelation of Your love and Your power today. Help us to realize that because we believe in You, we are part-takers of Your glory, Your power, Your strength, Your nature and Your victory! We declare today that because of You we will overcome every storm that we might face. We praise You!!! Amen.”
